– Sharia: It is the way of the Prophet ﷺ.
– Sharia: It consists of commands and prohibitions or the laws and systems revealed to the Prophet ﷺ.
The Relationship between Sharia and Tariqa
– Sharia: These are the sayings of the Prophet ﷺ, while the Tariqa (path) is his actions.
– Sharia is the foundation, and Tariqa is the core.
– Sharia is the framework of the Tariqa, and Tariqa is the essence of Sharia; there is no Sharia without Tariqa, and no Tariqa without Sharia.
The Impact of Deficiency in Sharia on Tariqa
– If any part of Sharia is missing, part of the Tariqa is also missing.
– If a disciple violates one of the principles of Sharia, they have violated a principle of the Tariqa.
– If there is a deficiency in Sharia, then the Tariqa lacks a foundation and connection.
